Backtest
Prove it on the past
Years of data in the MT5 Strategy Tester, with realistic spread and commission. Study the drawdown, not just the profit.

Demo
Prove it in the present
At least four weeks in live conditions on a demo account. The market is the final examiner.

Live
Prove it with real money
Only after it has passed both tests. No step is ever skipped, not for a "sure thing", and not for a strategy that looks perfect on paper.

Start small, grow steady
Your first live account is your classroom, not your treasury.
Begin with an amount you can afford to lose without it touching your bills, savings or peace of mind. Increase capital step by step, and only when live results match what your backtest and demo promised. Patience is a strategy too.
